Rice Ball

A Japanese onigiri, a triangular or rounded-triangular ball of white rice, typically wrapped with a sheet of black or dark green nori, or seaweed. Many platforms depict individual grains of rice across the surface of the rice ball, while others use a smoother or more stylized white surface.

Google and Samsung's initial designs depicted the rice ball at an angle. Facebook's initial design had notably green seaweed.
