A giraffe, the tallest animal on Earth, with spots and a long neck. Generally depicted in yellow or tan in full profile on all fours facing left, with distinctive brown spots and small, horn-like structures.

Most vendors' early designs featured only a giraffe’s head, facing either forward or to the side, consistent with the emoji’s original Unicode name, Giraffe Face. Between 2018 and 2022, however, these same vendors updated their artwork to depict the animal in full profile, an approach Apple had used from the outset.
