Eight-Pointed Star

A star with eight points. Typically depicted as a white star shape with eight rays and usually displayed on an orange or yellow background.

Google's design displays an orange star without a surrounding square, while Twitter uses a dark star. Apple's initial design for this emoji featured only four points, as per several Softbank designs in the 2000s.
