The symbol of Capricorn, the tenth sign of the zodiac. Depicted as a stylized N-like character with a looped tail. This symbol represents a sea-goat, a mythical creature with the front half of a goat and the tail of a fish. Capricorn is associated with the element of earth.

Typically shown as a white Capricorn symbol on a purple square background, though Google's design uses a circular background. The animated Noto Color emoji design rotates to display the Capricornus constellation.
